ENGINE SHUTDOWN! LUCKLY NO BLAST OFF.
During normal operation, underway, riding through my suburb the fuel pipe on my 1996 R1100R detached from the clip on top of the r/h fuel injecter. A small amount of fuel spilt on the side of the engine & the forward section of the muffler! lucky no fire. Has anyone heard of this one before. Any tips on a fix.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me and it was a pretty bad experience. I was in downtown Los Angeles on a very fast paced freeway when the fuel line came disconnected and gas just sprayed all over as the biked stalled in front of a semi who luckily realized what was happening and slowed with me with his hazards on while I dog paddled over to the median. I believe I simply knocked the clip off with my knee. It's such a precarious set-up considering how important it's function is. I'm not positive, but I think Wunderlich offers a better quality alternative to this part.
