Front wheel dented

Post by gel9001 »

Hi,
Just found a nice dent in my front wheel, no doubt attributable to NY/NJ potholes. New wheel list for 836.00, I can probably get it cheaper @ Chicago BMW but still expensive. A dealer will charge me a premium for the part and installation. I guess if I but the wheel, I only have to change out the rotors and tire. Are there any instructions anywhere on how to change out the rotors?

thanks,

Gene

I've seen postings here about shops that will fix a dented wheel.

Do a search here and I'll bet you can save quite a bit of cash.

I believe these guys do wheels too. Might be worth a call.

Check eBay - I think there's a front wheel on there right now but it's from a green Rockster.

Framestraight will do a good job for about 150 and you will wait a month.
These guys are very popular and a lot of bmw dealers bike and car send wheels to them.
