Doe anyone have a source for reliable flashing rear lights that will not conflict with CANBUS?

Re: FLASHING TAIL LIGHTS AND CANBUS
I got an led ad on at the dealer when I bought the R1200R, it sits below the license plate. on my K1200GT I added Hyperlites to the canbus with no problem. there is also now a plug and play (aka plug and pray) gizmo at the dealer that connects to your taillight socket (i think) that will let you add the lights.
check out http://www.hyperlites.com
they are also available from cycle Gadgets and several other suppliers.

Re: FLASHING TAIL LIGHTS AND CANBUS
Here's another option.
Actually it's easier to add on a LED type light as they appeare to have no effect on the canbus when they are just added into the circuit.
This is the one I use. http://www.run-n-lites.com/prod-LiteBlazer.asp.

Re: FLASHING TAIL LIGHTS AND CANBUS
I'm looking at http://www.p3lights.com/ to augment the incandescent tail light.

Evening All:
I have added the P3 lights to the back of my R12R and they work beautifully. Very bright, no CANBUS issues and very professional hardware. A terrific addition!!

Thanks everyone for the information.
Re: FLASHING TAIL LIGHTS AND CANBUS
I bought my P3's back in the early fall, work great, but the mounts are kind of cheesy. Matter of fact one broke the other day, I discovered it about 4pm. I had to devise a mounting system so I could ride saturday without tape holding the light on.
Notes: New Bracket is basically a tag sized plate with a strip of metal attached, creating wings beyond the tag to mount the P3's.
2 pieces of thin stainless 1.5 in x 10 in x .5mm (Needs to be cut down to extend the width of my plate plus some) $1.69 ea at Ace
1 sheet of metal screen/door protector 24in x 30 in (Now I have the material for an oil cooler guard!) $28
at Lowes
2 nut/bolt combos (metric) $1 from Ace
extras
2 sheets of thin stainless
1piece fo steel similar to the stainless but 1/8+ in thick (I had the folks at Ace cut a 30 inch bar down to easy motorcycle carry) $8 from Ace
A couple fo beers.
Sooooooooooo why all the extras?
I bought the steel first, then decided I did not want to paint. So I went back to Ace and purchased the Stainless, but I wanted the strips sturdy enough that they would not flex too much in the future and break (4 proved to be too many). I couldn't find any thin aluminum plates for tag plate (Ace, Home Depot, Lowes) so I purchased the sheet of screen protector.. blew my mind $28!!, I had to start drinking at that point. The bracket I fashioned is functional, but lacks finishing detail, lucky it is almost entirely hidden by my tag, and It allowed me to ride Saturday.. I plan to make a second bracket when I tackle the oil cooler screen now that I have my proto type.

Here ya go:

I love the Kisan bulb replacement for the tail light. If you want an easy flasher option that keeps CANBUS happy, that is it. It also is much brighter than the standard bulb !

Kisan works fine. I sometimes get a "Lamp" message, but nothing is wrong and it goes away.

Re: FLASHING TAIL LIGHTS AND CANBUS
I'm running the Kisan Tailblazer and the Run-N-Lites with no Can-bus issues. My only issue is if the winking and flashing lights alert the guy (driver) behind me or just tend to confuse him. It would be nice if both systems could be made to blink in sync, I think that would be more effective. I wonder that if when I'm jumping on the brakes if the guy in the car behind me is wondering 'What the heck is wrong with those winking and blinking lights.' and hasn't even started to think about moving his right foot to the brake pedal. I'm thinking I might be better off with keeping the Run-N-Lites and replacing the Tailblaster with a straight halogen bulb (I understand the heat issues).

Re: FLASHING TAIL LIGHTS AND CANBUS
I installed P3 lights last weekend, and it was snap. $155 with shipping. They're bright and a straight-forward install, even for the electrically skittish like myself.

Next on the list is Jerry Skene's Photon Blaster, which appears to be an amber version of the P3s.
Just crossed 1,000 miles on odometer, and this bike keeps getting better.
