Can I switch back from Synthatic oil to Regular oil?
Besides expensive oil (Mobil 1 15W50), getting them shipp to Japan via USPS is impossible, restriction. I am considering switching back to regular oil (20W50). Will this do harm to the engine, 26,000 km ?

No problem, My 2002 ran on dino for the first few years 
and I switched to synthetic at 40,000km, but because my bike still has a thirst for oil I've switched back to dino. Now at 50,000km and running great!

No problem at all. Make sure you switch your oil change interval back to what you were doing before the use of sythetic.
