Just added a gallon, and the precision automated computing machine embedded on my bike at a nontrivial cost lit up three bars and is telling me I can go 114 miles to empty. Lessee, before I added fuel I was 0 to empty, multiply by birthday, add pi: cool! 114 miles per gallon!

Ditto for me. Fuel strip always is full and maximum miles to go is also showing. Never changes. Warranty expires in July so it's off for a 6,000 and a new fuel strip job.

Yup. Took longer then the last time (the abandoned the level sensor on the K bikes after only 2 years or so and went back to a float..) Guess this engineer wasn't as close to retirement (BMW doesn't like to upset engineers - so they just continue the mistakes until the engineer retires..)motoracer8 wrote:Someone on the MOA web site posted that the new GSA comes with a float type level sender, mabe BMW has seen the light--- again.
