i know i could find it here somewhere if i looked harder, but i hate trolling through old posts
how do you do the TB sync procedure? do you need a special tool or meter? im a mechanic by trade and have been restoring cars and bikes for a while so i have everything i should need, just dont know what this procedure is, if someone could send info or a link to the description of it, i would appreciate it. also, adjusting the valves, there are these cup retainers in between the rocker and valve stem that wont permit a feeler guage in, do i have to set them with a dial indicator? i have a high quality one to do it with, it just doesnt seem right, my friends 06 GS doesnt have these weird retainers, i wonder if it was a short run thing on the 04? either way, anyone know of another way than dial indicator as the cup design doesnt allow a feeler guage in?

a homemade monometer or a twinmax will be the tool you will need.
