fuel level warning light

Post by psych »

Despite having a full tank of gas my fuel level warning light comes on intermittently, any suggestions?

Look at the second post on this thread and heed the advice, you probably have a partially broken wire under the bundle cover....check them out and fix it.

Thanks, removing the ties was the first thing I did when I bought the bike, no help yet but I havent taken the time to trace all the wires yet. I put some seafoam into the gas tank just in case the sending unit is in need of some cleaning/lubrication.
