Panniers for 2008 R1200R

Post by Tybus »

Just bought a 2nd hand pair of panniers from a R1150R.
But, will the Panniers from a R1150R fit my 2008 R1200R?

The seller is also unsure.

Thanks for any help
Cheers Ty.

Not even close.
I was the winning bidder on E-bay and I'm not sure I've got the right brackets to suit.
Never having bought anything on ebay before, do I still have to purchase them if they don't fit my bike?

Ebay does warn you that a bid IS a contact to buy.. and legally - yes - you still have to purchase them, since you agreed to Ebay's terms when bidding. Morally - I'd say yes also. Practically - well, up to you. If you have no Ebay feedback to lose, the cost to sue to collect on your debt is probably more then the amount that could be collected, so practically - no. You might discuss it with the seller, and offer to pay his ebay fees so he can relist them. Or he might try a "2nd offer" if there were any competing bidders.
Thanks for any help
Cheers ty.

Thanks for that.
I'll contact him and finalize the purchase for the panniers.
