You would be doing good to get $6000, the buyer would be getting a great deal at $5000. That is only my personal opinion. :-k

I bought my 04 R1150R in August of 2010 in San Francisco. I paid $5500. It had 16K miles, ABS, side cases, Givi top case, sport shield, stock exhaust, but the seller had a Y pipe and Remus Genesis exhaust that he included. The tires had about half the tread left. Mechanically excellent, but needed new brake pads.

If you haven't done so, check Craigs List for comparables. That is where I found mine.

I have never found that aftermarket parts or mods command a higher price. In fact, in almost all cases, they will depress what you can get for it.

Putting is all back to stock and sellling the aftermarket parts might bring more.
