New to the site

Post by pbboxer »

Hi All
My name is Paul and I've just joined the forum today.
I live in Yorkshire, Northern England and have a pretty trick 1150r (with a dubious taste paint job!)

Found the site today whilst trying to locate a High Seat.. they seem to be pretty rare.

I'll post some pics up of my 1150, it's had quite a lot of work done

Welcome to the site, and good luck finding a high seat, it took me almost a year to find one that was in decent shape, for a decent price. You may just want to send an email to Beemerboneyard.com and ask them to put you on the list for wanting one, that way if they get one they will email you and let you know.

Like I said, the paint work is dubious... if only they hadnt added the barbed wire it would be pretty good. Quality of the paint work though is really good. Wheels are gradient painted too

Only done 6960 miles now, but at the moment its hurting my back to ride. I need a high seat to try or it'll end up going to someone else. i dont want to lower the pegs.
