Gotta love the Brown Santa!!! :smt041 :smt111 :smt041

I'm currently resisting the urge to get a Mudsling. Not saying I don't think I NEED one, but getting the OEM Rear Luggage Rack (Part # 71607699528) needs to come first. It's not a disease, just a little necessary customization - and it's really easy to pass that customization off as safety, practicality, or increased utility! I'd put the Mudsling in the practicality category.

i agree its practical, and somewhat utility since because of it, the bike will require less cleaning :) LOL

Yep... this is a virus. Kinda like Herpes: highly contagious and you cannot rid your system of it. It goes quiet for a time, then... BAM!

I just had an attack and rewired the bike with a new switching fuse box, and Clearwater Krista lights.

There seems to be a pending attack of Wilburs

Now that you mention it, I think reading this thread has exposed me to Mudsling virus #-o

Mudsling rocks. Looks like OEM part and does it's job. I'm very happy with mine and still don't get why BMW did not think of it first...

I eagerly awaiting the release of the 2011 R1200R mudsling, apparently by months end. This is a must have farkle I reckon.

UPDATE: The 2011 R1200R ESA Mudsling fits the new bike perfectly. A great product. A tip for install is to remove the seat, so you can see and therefore get the screws aligned properly in the holes from underneath.

@nylife - nice bell you have there.
I'm surprised it didn't fend off the battery gremlins!

Woo-hoo. Mr. Fedex Man just dropped of a box with an Akropovic for my R1200R. It is amazingly light weight! I will know by the end of the weekend if "slip-on" is a misnomer or not.
