Oil Pressure Switch

Post by firstforward »

I promise I have searched for this but simply cannot find the info.

Does anybody know the thread size for the Oil Pressure Switch, I am trying to assemble the components to install an oil pressure gauge
and this is all that is holding me up.

Well I have eventually got this task completed, the thread was an M12 x 1.5, I had a lot of trouble getting this to work out as the T piece to pick up the old oil pressure switch and the new sensor were not able to fit within the limited space and even if I was able to there might have been other issues which I can explain further if anybody wants to know, so I fitted all the gubbins remotely. The dash fixing I made up myself as per these pics....

firstforward,

Exceptionally clean, factory-quality result. Very nice job.
