Aftermarket exhausts: slip on or full system
Just curious what you folks are running on your R12R's. Not sure if a full system is even made for this bike, one that eliminates the CAT.

I really like my Akrapovich exhaust, but if I had to do it all over again I would do it with new headers. I am not sure Akrapovich makes headers for the R1200R, but a complete system would be worth considering. Probably nothing wrong with mixing brands, although it wouldn't be my first choice.

I have a costume made for mine, I don't really care about getting more power or higher noise level, for me, everything is about the looks, showing that single sided swing arm and wheel.
I'm new here and don't know how to upload a picture or two. help

I guess I'll wait for the administrator to let me post pictures, I have a few I want to share.
Thanks for the tip Woland.

I recommend Photobucket. Register for a free account and download the pics you want to share to your album. Copy the link in your message text and it's that easy.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects handlebars to the saddle.

Hoshiko, if you PM me I'll let you have my e.mail address so you can send me the photos as jpeg attachments. I'll host them on my website for a while so that everyone here who's interested can see your custom exhaust. Or if you prefer just send them to the e.mail of my photo website - you'll find the address in the enquiries section of the bottom one of the two links below

Has anyone got a link to a fill acro system for the DOHC?
Re: Aftermarket exhausts: slip on or full system
I don't think they do a whole system, this is all I can find, http://www.akrapovic.com/motorcycle-exh ... 3ec1b4e97/ if they did do one I'm sure it would be on their website. Pity they've gone to a single outlet pipe on the twin cam version, the old twin pipe looks far nicer
