true dat, i feel ya, dog! got an '03 r1150r in august, it had 5k on it. now has 11k. i had an '04k brick before, i like this bike better. not as much rocket power, but lighter and more flickable. i just love riding it. just put some 1" X 1 1/4" back barbaks on her. great seating position, no neck strain! all good.

i did some upgrades, can't afford shop so got my hands dirty. fuel filter, air cleaner, oddysey battery, sae accessory plug, battery tender, metal qd's, upgrade cam chain tensioner, windshield, highway pegs, barbacks, soft bags, check valves, sync throttle bodies, sargent seat, airhawk II cushion. ...............and they talk about "harley tax!". i think i'm in for around $1500, but am done, unless i didn't think of something. i just love riding the thing. we have cooler weather now here in fl. gonna be a great riding season.

How do you like the Sargent seat? Is it better than that stock? Does it increase or lower seat height?

Thinking that it might make a good Xmas present.

No Kidding Mr. Towerworker, it is getting real cold in Northern Japan too. I have until November 15th or 1st Snow to ride my bike. Working for Uncle Sam, I must follow the rules.

How are doing, sir?

I think that I saw a RR from you earlier this year.

I haven't riden outside of the US, although I've driven on a few continents. Japan's big draw for me is (believe it or not) the skiing. Until the first snow (or the 15th), happy riding!

Cheers.
