Glad To Be Back - And Fender Extender Q

Post by moshe_levy »

Hi R Riders-

I used to frequent here often when my wife had her R1150R. 2 kids later, she's given up riding for now, but my friend Matt just traded in his 2005 F650CS for a 2013 R1200R 90th Anni edition. SWEET bike!

Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any front fender extensions available.... The bottom of the fender is very short and seems like it would kick alot of crap up into the oil cooler. I can find them for models up to 2010, but not afterwards. Any advice?

Thanks. I'm going to see if Machineart has something in the works. The Avants they have are much nicer than these old Pyramid drill-type units.

I haven't found it to be much of a problem...

MaMo doesn't have an Avant due to low sales volume of the model. So, we ordered a Touratech protector, just in case. Plus, it looks cool!
