For this site and all of the great info provided by great folks here.

Finished up
a) replacing the right turn signal harness (broken blue/yellow wire and generally badly deteriorated sheathing),
b) new QDs,
c) new battery.

The video from "Sweatmark" was particularly helpful.

And I did meet the bavarian challenge of figuring out where all the little washers went, the little black bits, as well as the tank bolt spacer inserts that both managed to pop out!

Awesome. I feel the same way!
2002 R1150R. Helmets save more lives than loud pipes.
