Pat, very nice run on the K bike, nice and flat.....the output on the Bonnie is also very nice and respectable.

DJ, the "party zone" is a bit higher, say from 8,000 to just about 10,000, right before the torque starts falling off....after that there are a couple nundre R's to be had but not much happening. When you see the torque take a dip like that, in the lingo, "you are running out of cam". Valve lift and duration are fully used, the engine can't pump more air.......

By looking at the dyno run the bike has been tuned for top end......look at how squiggly the torque and HP are up to 8K, then it just takes off, a little fattening in the 3 K to 8 K range would do wonders for the mid-range.

A can would lessen the BP, I wonder if the ECU would have the "brains" to fine tune the A/F ratio to make up for the better scavenging of the cylinder.

Pat/rivi77....Thanks, please keep the rest of the gearheads posted.
