z4 vs z6 (tires)
What are the main differences between the z4 and z6's? My bike came with z4s.

There are actually many differences:
1. The compound
2. The tread design
3. The profile in cross section
In a practical sense, they feel different, the bike turns in differently and they behave differently in the wet.
Go with the Z6. I have run them both and think the 6 outperforms the 4 in all ways.

Re: z4 vs z6 (tires)
I'm finding much better performance and significantly longer life from the Z6. The Z6 perform well right up to the point where the wear bars show whereas the Z4 feel lousy well before that. I'm really impressed with the Z6. In fact, I just an hour ago finished putting my second set on my K12RS. My R11R has its second set too.dano wrote:What are the main differences between the z4 and z6's? My bike came with z4s.
