Finally some pics of my new R1150RT

Post by malcolmm »

It was a beautiful day today in the Hunter Valley. I went for a ride to a little town named Paterson.

Found this neat place amongst a crop of Poplar trees and couldn't resist taking some pics of my new R1150RT. I like to call her "Shadowfax".

Today she was fully endowed with side bags, top box and tank bag. Normally I only use the tank bag. It's fantastic. Without the side bags and top box she reminds me of my beloved R1150R :)

Hope you like them. They aren't too big so they shouldn't be a problem to you guys.

Got them Bob. Will get around to fitting them sooner or later. You've got to torque them up don't you.

Wanna give me some advice?

Malcolm - superb pix. The RT looks sweet amongst the trees. I envy your coming summer!

We celebrated Thanksgiving here in Canada on the weekend. The trees are wonderfully yellow, gold, and red. So now I have to watch for wet leaves on the road - not just the gravel! But I do hope to ride this week between the rain showers!

Wish I could share your piece of heaven right now! Thanks for posting the pics

Dude,

That is a beautiful bike. If I got into long distance rides with my wife that would be the bike. Great pictures also.

The pics are great, as is the bike. But you forgot to show us the 'zorst side. Maybe they're the trees across the road from a massage parlour, and you couldn't shoot in the other direction ...

Ever noticed how often bike mags only show one side of the bike? Or they go to great trouble detailing some aspect of a bike that they fail to picture.
