System Cases

I know this subj has been covered but I cant remember
what the conclusion was If any......What has been done
to help w/heat factor on the left System Case other than
lowering.
Seems like I remember that most had not had a problem,
but wanted to check before putting new cases on.

Mate, I've just done 2000k's with the cut down case (over the top of the muffler) and no problems, it rained on me, dusted on me and everything else nature can throw up and the cases are definetely the best thing I've ever bought. I checked the case regularly (for the first couple of days) and hardly even warm. Use with gay abandon!!!!

Ditto - 20,000 km with no can and just a chrome tip, including 3,700 km last week in hot conditions. No problems with the full-size left case over the top of the outlet. I still have a cat fitted and this certainly traps a lot of heat, but I would have thought that would just make the gasses hotter. I did make damn sure the tip was pointed slightly outboard and down.

Oh...is that the question...I ditto MIXR...no heat...no probs...heaps more space.. ...oh yeah...and a better sound..(and no prob with pillions feet)
