Post by italr1150r »

Does anyone know how to find out the date when the bike is made. Is there a date stamped somewhere on the frame????

Here's a pic for you to make it easy to explain.....my bike is an 02 model....it was made in 09/01...(sept 01)

Do you know where this plate is located?

All I have is the serial # ending with 78320. They don't put those plates on Italian R1150R's.

DJ...your pic was of the Oz compliance plate. Others may not have it.

The year and model info used to be stamped into the upper forward frame gusset years back.

Try this for an alternative site for ID.
