I could go $6,800 for this one, not a penny more!

I see that I'm going to have to change my offer, in the presence of all of this scepticism; $32.79 with shipping for the luggage racks and grid assembly; plus, throw in both throttle body-fuel injector assemblies, the left side cam chain tensioner parts, and that single good clear lens on the left rear signal stalk!

That's my bottom line!

I do declare that in my travels I have never seen a Boxer with a 30 degree angle from vertical on the rear wheel.

I would leave it alone, even if you return it to a better tahn new condition it will have a "rebuilt" title, which people will walk away from at the time you decide to sell it.

These bikes are good if you have a project that can benefit from the good parts......

Welcome to the tourmaster 3!

Yessiree, with the new tourmaster 3, we've upped the touring stakes to a completely new level of wonder! At the factory we thought who wants to do mileage and still be at home?

Who wants handlebars that you can hang stuff from (see page 3 for accessories and fish mobiles) and still get a grip?

With the tourmaster 3 we provide! with it's unique to tourmaster rear end design, you can tour thousands of kilometers in a perfect left hand arc and still remain in your driveway!! yes thats right folks! YOU can get the distance, be awarded that iron butt rally badge AND not have left your driveway! :)

Furthermore with our extended warranty, you'll never have a problem as you'll never be able to actually ride it to the shop to complain, a win-win situation for both us the sales department and you the client!!

So call now! and if you're lucky we'll throw in pieces of clients who have also managed to attempt to sue us...

Don't forget! our number is 1800-youhavegottobekidding

ps.. don't buy this... ALL the castings will have been stressed.... ouch..

There is no friggin way I would touch that bike.

It looks like every major part needs to be replaced, and for the $$$ that it would take to replace them, one could buy a used 1150R that was ROAD WORTHY.

Wow, thanks for all the replys and suggestions. I was thinking the same thing myself in terms of just parting it out. Shes now the proud owner of a salvage title and has less than 2k miles....grrreat. I just thought i'd ask about the rear end, i was curious to see if the one sided swing arm has ever had problems like this resulting from component failure or anything not related to an accident. The bike is in Ohio and I am in Colorado, that is why im not able to see it personally, and for you people who are so sceptical and take the time to check my spelling...don't quit your dayjob. I'll have it back at my shop in CO around the 1st of Jan if anybody is interest, lol. Thanks again! -Adam

Well atl111, you appear here with a new alias, first post and trip 3 of the 5 warning signs of a scam artist. What do you expect, instant credibility?

Since you came back and sound more plausible and spell a bit better, I'll wish you luck with this endeavor.

BTW, my day job is fighting terrorists. So I am a bit paranoid, especially of these Roadster Rowdy types. I've met some, undercover of course, and I can tell you stories!

Engine looks good, if I had time and money and patience I would stip get rid of everything from the tranny back and work on it as a long term project bike, I totaled a 2004 R, yet much of it, except forks, steering upper frame including tank was untouched, combined these 2 bikes could ride again,
Like the ancient bird the Phoenix, which rose from the ashes to soar in majestic splendor...

sorry I get carred away very easily these days, parked bike makes me anxious, need better weather

Aren't those pics, with the little translucent camera symbol in the bottom right corner, mean an E bay pic or the like??

Actually, with a little welding, some hammering to make it fit, and paint to match, that engine would be awesome in an atv/quad.

that's kind-of pornographic, don'tcha think? I mean, look at the way the bars are grasping for you, and the rear wheel has kicked itself sideways to be more.........

The real question is, "what ISN'T bent". That carcass isn't worth it's weight in shipping.
