I checked out the trailer for the latest Milla Jovovich film "UltraViolet" today. What did I see? (besides Milla's bare belly in every action scene) A BMW R1150R! She was doing stunts on it that may remind you of that other special motorcycle movie, "Torque".
I'm just curious - for the movie buffs on this board, how many other motion pictures have had the R1150R in them?
I remember Ben Affleck riding a Rockster through a window in "Paycheck", but are there any others (in any country)?
I believe one was ridden by a womean in a Johny Depp film a few years ago, where he was dealing with Satan, the name escapes me at the moment! (Seventh Gate?)
One was in an episode of CSI Las Vegas a couple of years ago.
'02 in black - the real BMW color! (Now gone to a new home)
Vann - Lifer No. 295
The CSI episode aired again just a few weeks ago. It was a lovely lady riding it off after having a talk with Kathryn. Kathryn made the remark, "Nice bike!"
It's not a Roadster but Jack McCoy, played by Sam Waterston, rides an older beemer in a couple of episodes of Law & Order. Well, maybe not riding, but getting off, putting on helmet beside it, etc.
Interesting, I've had a bunch of people compliment the bike on having a futuristic look. Now here it is (stock) in a movie set in the future. I think the silver color has something to do with it.
Damn, that movie Ultraviolet looks AWESOME!!! I don't care if it's Oscar winning material, I must watch it. Milla Jojovich, guns, knives, swords, explosions, and a BMW flat twin on top of it. What more can you ask for?
Cogito Ergo Vroom - I think therefore I ride.
03 Rockster, 07 Aprilia Tuono R, 07 KTM 990 Adventure
It was a bad movie, but Michelle Yeoh was showing her shapely legs plus the Scarver was armed with rockets and stuff, plus doing wheelies all over the place. How can you not watch it?

Not quite in the movie, but does it count if several BMW models are featured at the 'Premier' of the movie Silverhawk (which someone else mentioned earlier)?? Of course, the 'Silver' R1150R was duly represented too
