Throttle Slack

Post by jrc »

Over the last year, there has developed a 1/4-inch or more of slack in the turn of the throttle on my bike. This leads to a moment of lag and has become annoying. Is there an easy way to take up the slack, or is this sort of "cable stretch" to be expected?

There's an adjustment up there under the throttle. Pull back the rubber boot and easily adjust the slack. They DO stretch.
