Does anyone have experience with Hawk Products highway pegs?

I thought these looked pretty good as you can actually get different lengths. The elf pegs look great, but are too short for my legs. I'm curious if anyone used the Hawk adaptors in order to use BMW pegs. Thanks.

I think they serve their purpose pretty well.

My friend I rode with last week from Utah was using them the whole way on his R1150RT. In fact, he is the one who sells them. He happens to be our BMW MOGA (Motorcycle Owners of Georgia) club President this year. His name is Jim Hawks and he designs the Hawks products and has someone else who actually fabricates them.

It seemed pretty easy to switch the rear pegs back and forth. I had to ride pillion with him from the airport to the motel where the other bike was located.

I purchased the Hawk Talon Falcon for short legs. I then mounted a set of H-D footpegs with H-D mounting hardware. Virtually a no brainer exercise except there is a left and right piece. I needed the practice re-installing. Also, a good torque wrench is useful to keep from over tightening the bolts. :D

This setup works for me. The ELF was too far away for me to reach and so on.

I truly wish BMW realized there are a lot of us shorter folks with both shorter arms as well as shorter legs.
