Excellent! It's not gone down dramatically, but I have noticed a drop... A what point (or level in the glass) do you top-up and how much should you add?

When you can't see it - and then only put in around 400ml.

What oil would you recommend? They had motorcycle oil in Halfords last time I looked, Catrol GPS I think it was. Right/Wrong?

IIRC GPS is correct (it MIGHT be GP, I'd have to look).
IIRC the site glass only covers a 500ml "level-change" anyway, so I tend to add 400 if I can't see anything, or 200/300 if I can and if I can be bothered.

Hi
I was after GPS and rang Castrol tech to find a stockist so yep Halfords stock it BUT they also recommended adding any 10/40 or 15/40 oil to it as it would get the grade closer to what BM motors need to get run in. They said you can stick whatever you like in there, no danger of damaging the motor!
I was concerned about mixing oils but the tech said they all mix OK and you can basically run our motor on whatever you have lying around in the shed!

Regarding Castrol GP'S'; does the 'S' symbolise synthetic?

or "sport".
TBh - yes you could run pretty much anything - the clutch and gears aren't in the same oil, so all you really need is proper, old-fashioned style, ENGINE oil.
