I'm planning my 2 month ride round europe in the summer, and as a result, I've spent far too much time reading the Touratech catologue!

I'd love to stick some of their Zega panniers on my bike, but I'm not sure if or how they'll fit on my R1150R. Anyone know?

I think Jesse Luggage makes aluminum cases for the R.
IMHO..you don't need these, unless you are looking for more storage space.
I travelled for 3 months with the BMW system cases. No problems at all!

Check out this link. It's exactly what you're looking for. I ran across it while trying to find a BMW system case replacement option....since the travesty of my recent loss of my right side case on the interstate.

Cool, thanks. I got myself some cheap system cases off ebay in the end so won't be needing it now. Always good to know if I need new cases in the future though.

I'm a dab hand with the welder too (if I say so myself!).

Wouldn't fancy loosing a case like that, did you find out why it came off?
