Not a full picture of the bike, but I just love the shot. Was taken last summer on a trip the wife and I took to see how many covered bridges in Oregon we could find. We saw about half of them, 22, have about 25 more to go.

Hello SitR1150R; what's interesting about this photo is the depth of field; I suspect that you must have focussed upon the bike (hence the clarity) and let the depth of field take care of the focus for the background. I suspect F22? Please advise expos uredetails ('cos this shot wasn't a simple point and shoot job ! IMPHO )
John,
Actually it was a point and shoot lucky shot. If I had my old SLR 35mm camera, I would have thought more about the composition and the focus etc. This photo though was taken with a Kodak digital camera set on automatic. I do remember putting the focus dot on about the headlight and locking it there and then framing the photo from there. I just wish I had noticed the velcro tab from the tank bag and folded it out the way or taken the dumb bag off for the shot. Oh well, live and learn. I photos of all of the rest of the bridges on the XPLOR website. This photo was the best though, most of the rest are pretty bland, a bike and a bridge.
Is there a reason why I can't get this image to appear?
I think you are pasting in the wrong link. It should end in .jpg Try right clicking (or if you have a Mac ctrl-click) on the photo where you have it hosted and then paste that between . Or perhaps your hosting site has a link for embedding in forums? Photobucket makes it easy - they have the link already so all you have to do is paste it in - you don't have to put the in there, they do it for you. (it's free)
