Mirror thread size

Post by davevagts »

Does anyone know the thread size for the mirrors on the R1200R? It's it 10mm?

Or how I could figure it out?

Thanks,

Take the mirror off the bike and match it up to the printable chart here:

Just a guess from me...I'm not 100%..but I remember reading something about this before.

I think 10mm is a standard size for most bikes..but BMW being what they are..have 8mm..just to make it hard to fit other mirrors.

The thread size for the mirrors is M6. I have no idea what that is in inches. Why? Did you break yours?
