Post by renagade »

I have replaced my left side pannier for a 1150rt type ,now that my silencer (muffler ) as been replaced with a small pipe. What I want to do now is change the locking barrel so I have one key fits all.

Nip over to Rainbow and get the lock barrel kit. You just swap out the internals to suit your key number.

Thanks Mick. I have just done this in about half an hour. I now have a matching lock set - bike and sidecases.
I was left with one wafer from each barrel which I am keeping along with a diagram of the original case lock. I can change it back to its old key if I ever sell them off seperately from the bike. Brilliant tip....
