A few more pics of the Bash/link fixed, honest

Post by RBrider »

Judy & I rode two up on the Rockster from Topton NC to Marlinton.

Any one who likes to sport tour, and doesn't spend time on the back roads of the Appalachians is missing a great riding experience. We love it.

We left Topton Thurs 9:00 AM, got back to Topton Sunday 7:00PM. Just under 1200 miles total.

Phil, Dave & jb were nice enough to invite us to ride with them on Saturday, Phil led us on a great 206 mile loop thru Virgina & West Virgina. Thanks ,Phil.

(I hope that worked)

It was great meeting everyone, and we hope to do it again. Judy is already talking about what she would do different next time we do a tour, I think that's a good sign!

It works.

Nice pictures. I like the action/riding shots. You were at the same table at Seneca Rocks that we had on Friday.

RB, I had the pleasure of Saturday morning breakfast with Judy, your charming silver haired bride. She showed the group what we both already know about the value of (still vibrant) older women - - - especially when you're an older man.

Nice pictures! You guys sat at the very table at Seneca Rocks we did! Only you were dryer! Love the shots while riding! Good job Judy!

My own pictures are still a work in progress. Lots of evening school-related activities this week! :?

Great pictures Bob. I enjoyed meeting you and Judy. Also enjoyed our Saturday evening chat on the porch. Hope to meet you again. I'll post my pics when I figure out how to do it.

We're back home in Florida now. An uneventful 10.5 hour drive.

Scott, enjoyed talking at breakfast Saturday, Judy appreciated your veiws on staying healthy. And thanks for letting me know my link didn't work.

Biff, glad I got to meet you in person. I'm gonna get you down our way before I get too old to ride.

DJ, all of us are thinking of the great job you do with ride reports & pics when we post our own.

CycleRob, I'm a lucky guy,I freely admit it.

DSKYZD, I never did find VA RT 42, We ended up taking US 220 down to Roanoke.

Vann, I'm looking forward to getting together for some riding in the Southern Appalachians.

Marty, we enjoyed meeting you & your son (Mike).
If I can post pics, anybody can. :)

We just got off the phone with friends that invited us to do the Honda Hoot with them. Nothing against the Hoot, but it would be second best after the great time we had with the Bash.

Thanks again, everyone.

Mr. Brown? You mean JB?

JB now and forever has a new name. We henceforth dub JB as "Mr. Brown". I like it.

Whoops! I fixed it.
Does this mean I can't call JB "Mr. Brown" from now on?

I was immediately reminded of the movie "Reservoir Dogs".

David, thanks again for bringing my camping stuff to the Inn. I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened up the bag to find it all so neatly folded. I really would have just "stuffed" it in there

"why do i have to be mr. pink? he gets a cool name like mr. white and I have to be mr. pink? I'll be Mr. Purple."

"you can't be Mr. Purple."

"why not?"

"cause there's a mr. purple on another job and i said so, that's why!"
