Parabellum Sport Shield -- got one?

Post by TWI »

The last time I checked the Parabellum site all they had for the R1200R was the fairing. Now they have two windshields. One mounts on the BMW hardware which I don't have (so no interest to me), the other, the Sport Shield, has its own hardware. Looks interesting. I wonder how it compares to the ZTechnic shield? I think the ZTechnic looks better.

Sport Shield

I have one on my R12R. It works well...better protection than the BMW "touring" screen or the Cee Baileys, but I don't think it looks as good as either of those. I had a Scout on order for six weeks and checked the status this week. They said mid to late August before starting it so I cancelled. Givi and ZTechnick both have new screens for the RR. You might want to look at those as well.

I put one on in July. Comes with extra hardware that mounts to the handle bar mounts. No complaints. Works well.
