Almost Spring - Rockster Photo

Post by Norge »

Photo from a recent trip through "The Valley" and along the Brandywine River in Delaware. It is some of the best riding and yet only a few miles away from the city of Wilmington.

Hey, that's my bike! :P

This weekend I went to the Poconos Race track (my brother races), and the temperature there in the morning, not factoring windchill, was 33F  ! Thank goodness for the touring shield and for my electric gear. When I left my house on Sunday morning (near Philly) the temperature was around 34, but after about 90 minutes at 80 mph on I476, I had to pull off and rest for about 5 minutes until my gloves and vest warmed up.

I love heated gear - they allow me to ride year round! BTW, are you going to Bob's this Saturday? They are having a tent sale - maybe we can ride together!

Paul

PS Here's a picture from Sunday at the race track:
