Bash Memories
Inspired by Boxermania, I propose that attendees from past Bash's provide a short narrative and any pictures of those events. Please include date, time, location to keep us from total confusion.

Bash IV Marlinton, WV May 18-20 2007

On the way to Marlinton from Seneca Rocks. It snowed. When we stopped to marvel at this high meadow, Scotty showed up from NY. Coincidence. Great meet. Cold.

Re: Bash Memories
This will require some research through lots of old photos. I'll be back.
Re: Bash Memories
From Bash I, on the Cherohala Skyway:

Too many good memories for just one picture; also from Bash I, the group from Day 2 after a nice run over Wayah Road:

And at the "overlook' on Deal's Gap from the 1st Bash in '04, a group shot and 5 of these folks I still either ride with or at least visit with on the board!

Someone else (Boxer?) needs to post a group shot from the infamous BBQ run to Fat Buddies on the first night of Bash I!

I don't have that one, but I do have these. From Bash 2 at Bartow, WV.
The three black Roadsters went out together that day and did a run. We stopped at one point and Yong and Vann both had loose windshields. They had to borrow my 6mm hex key to tighten them.

I been missing that ball end hex key ever since!
Later on we ate at a now-familiar location.

I really enjoyed that romp with the three black banditos up to Seneca Rocks.
Notice how gas was $1.25 less then!

Phil - another shot from that ride, also one of my favorites! From our lunch vantage point, Yong and Phil with Seneca Rocks in the background:

Re: Bash Memories
Chris always makes me laugh in this one from BBII in Bartow, WV, April 2005:

wncbmw, mcooperstein, yjleesvrr (behind), boxermania, arbreacames, chibbert
Boxermania was giving us some TB Sync training Saturday afternoon.
I also like this one from that Sunday morning:

There should be lots like this one, cant remember which morning:

Re: Bash Memories
That reminds me...
New rule: all Roadsters must be parked "just so" in color coordinated order. Blue (fastest), black, red, bronze, silver, grey, dark blue, the other red ones, yellow jackets, ferro/ferros, Rocksters, AOB.
Every time, every stop.

Re: Bash Memories
This one's from Bash 2. Someone had a rather bright riding outfit (talk about color coordination) and was trying to tell me that I'm #1!!!

On the way to Bash 3, somewhere west of Elkins, Wv.. We rode through warm temps to have it change to just above freezing with sleet, to heavy rain. Finally we took a break after it stopped:

Re: Bash Memories
No pictures, but at the Marietta Bash we saw Cleveland defeat Detroit in the playoffs AND we discovered that Marietta Married couples like to swing! At Central we discovered that out of the way places can generate a large amount of local patronage - the traffic in Central Friday and Saturday was almost congested! We learned what a Gun Raffle is. And those non-football players came back the second night to buy me a beer!
