Sold....... Sad.

Post by Norge »

I sold my Rockster yesterday. I think I'm in shock. I've never had such a cool bike. At every traffic light, I get looks, stares, and questions! It was a real head turner and I'm sad to see it go. The new house needs too much attention though.

Can't believe you would sell the bike for the house !! I understand the dilema tho. Never say never tho there might be some cash house left after the house restoration !!! Good luck

I think someone needs to watch the K1200R promo movie and relearn how one should live with there BMW motorcycle. Which is: Bangin go-go dancers and living in a caravan in a junkyard. ;)

I'll be going back to college full-time in January and may face the dilemma of some student loan service telling my I'm not allowed to have a motorcycle and a student loan.

My Rockster was sold last Sunday. My wife and I both shed a tear as it disappeared down the driveway. (she doesnt even like bikes!) I have reached retirement age and because my pension fund managers thought it was o.k. to plunder the fund (common occurence in this country) I am now forced to change my life style. Of all the bikes I have owned, and there were quite a few, the Rockster was the nicest. Occasionally when I rode my buddy's 1200S I wished my bike had similar performance though.
don't think about the meaning of life, think about the next ride
