Another addict (almost)

Post by romanr »

Well, I guess I can claim I'm nearly a true member now. I finally made the leap and ordered a 2009, Black, R1200R [safety and comfort packages]. I bought it at Nick's BMW in De Pere, WI. Grant was very attentive, tried hard to find me a 2008 with ASC and couldn't so I ordered the 2009 from him.

I think I got a good deal: $15500 OTD with TPM, ASC, ABS, OBC, Heated grips, center stand, white signals, low seat, bags and bag mounts. If its not a good deal, I'll live with it - they treated me like they were interested in earning my business and that's worth something to me.

I can't believe I bought this thing without ever having ridden one, but I must give credit and thanks to this group for helping me feel like it was an informed decision.

Pictures to come...

Thanks to all of you for enduring, and answering, my questions.

now I've got about 8 weeks to find a good windscreen, build up my upper body muscles, and sell my plane. Any want a freshly painted PA-28-140?

$15,500 OTD is a great deal on your bike with all of those options. How did you manage that? Is the economy especially slow up there?

It appears that the BMW scientists have how perfected an airborne virus to infect prospective buyers without necessity of sitting on the nanite infected seat.
