If you are looking for pictures, I'd start with a search on this site. If I recall correctly, a member by the name of Bill Haycock posted instructions with pictures quite a while ago.

Here's a link to instructions that were written for the R1100 - the basic procedures are valid for the 1150 ibut some of the specifics may vary a little: http://www.ibmwr.org/r-tech/oilheads/brakes.shtml. I use Method 1 (of the 5 given in the article) which requires a Mityvac vacuum tool. This is an inexpensive (about $40 or so) device that makes things much easier. Others use Speed Bleeders to good effect. Neither of these is absolutely necessary but using one or the other will probably make your life a whole lot easier.

One warning that you will hear over and over is to be very careful with brake fluid - it takes paint off very quickly and efficiently. I make sure that the front forks are secured and that my gas tank is completely covered - I'd highly recommend doing the same. The rear brakes are actually somewhat easier than the front but you have to remove some body parts to get at the reservoir. There are instructions with pictures somewhere on this site for removal of the side panels.

Keep in mind that all the procedures are for non-ABSystems. It's actually a faily easy job, not dissimilar to bleeding the brakes on your car.

You have omitted to nominate whether the bike is ABS or NON ABS
there is a big difference & skill level to do the same task depending on the answer to that question

The NON ABS fluid change is relatively straight forward and is doable even for a novice
An ABS System fluid change for the first time is doable for an experienced mechanic but i would
not recommend a novice go near it.
