Great riding day.

It got up to 71 degrees here in Enid, OK. yesterday and the wind was only blowing 10-15 mph out of the SW. I took the bike out for a long ride and then pulled it into the garage and changed the final drive and trans fluid with Mobil 1. This was the best riding day I've had in a month and now I'm all ready for that next good day. It was 18 degrees this morning when I got up and the wind is blowing 15-25 mph out of the north. I just love this Oklahoma weather.

Well it was not that warm today in the Nation's Capital, but mid 40s and sun is good enough for me. The R was garage for the last 6 weeks. Started up with out missing a beat and got in a nice 45 min ride. With any luck this clear weather will hold and I can get back to riding to work, driving the car is just not as much fun.

i got to ride to work 3 days this past week. highs in the mid 40's on the way to work, and lows in the upper 30's on the way home at night. new years day, i changed my front tire that morning and then five of us rode about 3 hours. 31 degrees when we left out, 38 degrees when we got back. i am ordering heated jacket and pants liners SOON!!
