Has Anyone Tried A Parabellum Super Tour Shield

Before I buy, I was wondering if anyone has tried one of these and can give me there honest opinion. Thanks.

I have one on my 2002 R1150R. I'm about 6' tall and sit on a Rick Mayer seat that puts my butt an inch or two higher than the stock seat. I also use a Wunderlich touring handlebar. Therefore, my head position is higher and further to the rear than stock.

The Parabellum gives me good head and body protection from direct wind blast. I can ride with my visor cracked open in virtually all conditions. However, I have more air turbulence around my head that I want. More importantly, I get neck and back strain on longer rides. Much of that would be eliminated if I rode closer to the shield.

I have just bought a laminar lip that I will add to the shield this weekend. I'm hoping that its added protection will create a more comfortable riding zone for me.

Thats what I did. Added the laminar lip. I also took off the barbacks to get my head closer to the windshield.

I had the 19" for a while. Get the 23".

It was great for cold weather, but if the size is not right your head will get paint shaker syndrome at 80+ mph.

You'll have more information on the Parabellum shield than you could ever imagine if you would just use the search function up at the top right hand corner, and type in "Parabellum."

Really...try it. And most of the opinions will be honest.... just the way you want it.
