Rockster sold... new GS ADV.

Post by Sunfire »

About 2 weeks ago I sold my Rockster and bought a new GS ADV. Just wanted to thank everyone here for all the help and info given to me throughout the time I owned my Rockster. Loved the bike, but needed something else. Soon I'll post an ad with the parts I took off, like my Akro exhaust, cases, liners, etc.

Paul!

Well, seems the Rockster was part of your moto-evolution, following your Buell. IIRC you planned on a big trip to the western states, and the Adventure will certainly be the optimum tool for such journey!

Since the Buell era has officially ended (and Mrs. Sweatmark's pushing me to sell the XB), perhaps I need to consider consolidating bikes into a new ride too! I would need a replacement for the Rockster and Buell XB that could travel and trackday. Hmmm.

Enjoy your new GS!

Hey Mark, nice to hear from you. Yes, the Rockster was part of the "evolution", but if I had space I would have kept it. Well, I try not to be too attached to my things, with some exceptions. :D

You know, one of the bikes that I have always liked are the F series. Almost a Buell! LOL Seriously, I think it would be great to have an F800 ST or an R. Maybe when my house is sold this spring...

Take care,
Paul

Hi Paul,

How much did you sell your bike for?
