rev limiter with almost empty tank

hi

I will open a new topic for this problem because i would like to compare how many of you noticed the same problem and what it could be. I've copied the text below;


When the tank is almost empty (after 200 miles); and when i nail it (mostly in 2nd, sometimes 3th) the rev limiter (what i think it is) is active at around 5500 RPM! normaly the Rev limiter is active at 8000 RPM.
This is anoying! Could someone please tell me why the bike react like this because there should be enough gas in the tank for at least 30 miles.

it always happend;
-when there is less fuel in the tank (about 20-30 miles to go)
- with full throttle
- in 2nd or 3th

is it normal?
is there any solution ?
