Run-In Service

Headed in for my run-in service tomorrow, Should have about 750 miles on it by the time I get there. So far so good.

OBC says 46 MPG

Woohoo - Now starts the hard run-in. Now you'll have to bounce that bad boy off the rev limited and basically try to beat tup a bit on that motor so it will open up. I found this part difficult since the bike accelerates so quickly. Is yours a 2011?

Yes it's a 2011. It really seems to like the 4000 RPM range.

Did around 140 miles today in fierce winds, about 20 of it on Rt 81. I came away impressed with it's stability in wind and on the highway.

Nice!! Now comes the hard part... waiting in the dealer w/out buying something while they do the service :lol:
