I think you should know that's too much to pay for an inner fender.

If you haven't already, you might want to check out the MudSling from the MachineArt Moto folks. Although it lacks the "striking appearance" of the Wunderlich item.

+1 on the MachineArtMoto inner fender. Easy to install, effective and a much better deal.

Indeed, I have an Ilmberger carbon fiber hugger on my R but if I'd buy today it would be a mudsling for sure.

alas, I already own it, it's in the garage waiting for me to get home form this trip and install it... I was more curious if there is any torque settings, etc.. that I need to worry about when I install it. Directions seem to just say use "lock tight" but nothing about a torque setting.

The Wunderlich "Hugger" or Inner Fender looks pricey compared to the same unit from Puig.

I first fired a Mudsling to my 2011 bike and whilst this does a great job of keeping the rear shock clean, it does nothing to stop the water and dirt being slung up into the undersea area. So I tried to fit the Puig hugger as well but as one is on the sprung and the there on the unsprung parts of the bike, they rub together so sadly my mudsling came off. I may modify it to try to refit it.

With the Hugger though, the results are pretty much identical to the mudsling and I still have to clean up under the seat after ridning in heavy rain. Please somebody make a better citing undertray for this bike!

You might want to consider the Nippy Norman's hugger. I've had one for several years without issue and it's very reasonably priced. It does a good job of keeping the spray and crud off of the bike.

It apparently mounts to the paralever lever mounting and to one of the brake caliper mountings..

Brake caliper bolt = 24 Nm
Lever arm bolt/nut = 43 Nm

I'd only use Loctite on the lever arm bolt/nut - or a new nut (it's supposed to be a one-time use.. it's a deforming threads locking nut.) But that's me.. you may want to follow their suggestion.
