Post by DJ Downunder »

If I was to buy a new beast...I would put one of these on.

The belly pan and other K1200R goodies available shortly from the west coast of the US will be VERY competively priced and of comparable quality.

When is "shortly"? From where? Grrr.

I would like to see a shortened belly-pan that would work with a centerstand. Also would like to see one on the dark graphite bike. I tried photoshopping it but I got bored/frustrated with photoshop.[/quote]

smaller chin spoiler...

Post by rivi7777 »

Perhaps this is the way to go? Retention of the centerstand with this chin spoiler is obviously not a problem. I wish a pic of the entire bike was available...

Just found out today that San Jose BMW now officially has what they are calling a Frame Protection Package or kit, consists of 5 parts, two for the front forks two for the frame and one for the final drive unit The price is something like $200.00. I saw the peices installed on a K1200R while I was back there just before Christmas and they look very good.

They also have a belly pan just like that on the Power Cup bike painted to match your bike for something like $600.00. They also have some other trick goodies for the K1200R and S.

The parts are now available
