Magazine Reviews

What mags and when have reviewed the Rockster? I'm looking for some clues for when I dig through my old ones. I get Cycle World, Sport Rider, Motorcyclist and my favourite, T.W.O. from England.

Superbike from the UK did a couple of articles on the Rockster, but that was in 2004. Can't remember which edition. Cycle World did a comparison between the Rock and the Guzzi Coppa Italia. Some online motorcycle joint did a comparison between Rockster and Guzzi Balabio.
Cogito Ergo Vroom - I think therefore I ride.

IIRC BiKE in the UK had a Rockster as a long-termer last year, and there's been some comparison test with various bikes in BiKE and RiDE.

Normally it doesn't fare very well because they don't think it's quick enough  or don't like the indicators - but they like the comfort.... (go figure!)

If you're interested - I did a comparison test between the Guzzi V11 Cafe Sport and the Rockster before I bought : here's the write up : http://www.visordown.com/forums/showthr ... ost1878771

Roadtest site ...

An interesting website indeed -- it's good to read tests from sources other than the usual U.S. and British magazines, I thought the South African test of the Rockster was detailed and objective without the flowery prose that detracts from reports in the big glossy bike rags. Definitely a site to bookmark ...
