almost as pretty as me! These are about the size of your hand.

Great for practicing swing with a golf club or cricket bat...

Fun for popping when driving at night in the car... *NOT* fun to hit on the bike (only had the misfortune of hitting one so far) also not fun standing on one of these barefoot at night, and these pests are spreading very quickly.

Theres a great animated video at http://www.cane-toad.com/ about these beasties. If you've not seen it, it's worth a watch.

These things are spreading across the north and are now as far as Kakadu in the northern territory.....a pristine wilderness home to many indigenous species. In the north, it is your civic duty to kill any you see.
A very funny movie was made a couple of years ago showing ingenious ways to dispose of these pests......sort of a 101 things to do to cane toads!

Wow! I have to respect an animal that can do this:
some toads left squashed with their guts hanging out of their bodies have been known to slowly re swallow their innards and hop away
