Part number need for crush washers

Post by hotzuk »

Hey gang,

Would anyone know the part numbers for the crush washers for the final drive drain bolt and the transmission fluid drain bolt? My friend and I are placing an order to Chicago BMW and do not have the numbers. The person my friend talked to at Chicago indicated that they could not find the part number. Thanks for any help.

Oh yeah, I have a 2002 R1150R :)

Thought I could help you since I just so happened to get an order from Carolina BMW today with an oil filter and oil wrench to start doing my own services. All the crush washers for the oil change, transmission and final drive were in a plastic bag with the filter. No part # is listed on the invoice. I don't know if they come with the filter or if Carolina BMW just threw them in with the order at no charge. The numbers on the bag don't seem to be in any way related to the numbers on the invoice. Maybe they are part of the package if you order the filter.

If you call Chi BMW and talk to the parts guy, he will look up the numbers and give them to you to then order on-line. I've done that before.

Capt,

Thanks a bunch for the part numbers. Hey, does Chicago BMW do the 20% discount on clothing if you give them the part number?

If it's BMW brand, it should be a 20% discount unless they've changed since I was there last.

20% is good on gear as well! I bought a pair of boots for my wife from Chicago at a tremendous discount. I think they were already discounted from BMW + 20% off.
