Future Rockster

BMW confirmed there will be a future R1200R, which will be provided with the new R1200GS and R1200S engine. This will undoubtedly lead to more power and less weight.
More details on the follower of the R1150R and R1150R Rockster weren't given.

There is a mention of the R1200R in the Motor Cycle News this week. (p4)
It shows an artist impression and says it should be available in either August or October this year.
Engine will be same as R1200GS, rather than the R1200S.
A 'stubby' exhaust, rather than the under seat unit.
Price about £8000.
