Bagster tank cover - Does anybody have pictures???

Post by duke »

Does anyone have closeup high quality photos of fitted Bagster tank cover for R1150R (or Rockster)???

I have fitted it - but I am not 100% certain of the accuracy of the job.

The best (and only) picture I have found so far on Google Images is:

Note:

I have searched through the posts on this website to no avail.
I am sorry to say it but I will post this both on R1150R and Rockster threads in order to ensure that more people read it.

Many thanks

What do you think you are having a problem with?

I must admit when I got mine, I wasn't entirely sure it was on right either! I ended up with a couple of very small raised folds right near the very front of the petrol tank on each side, just above the oil coolers. I looped a strap on each side round the back of where the tank seats on the rubber bungs, either side of the headstock.

I'm afraid at the moment I don't have the cover on my bike, but if you're still desperate for pics I can try to get a bit of time over the weekend to put it back on and take a few shots.

I saw some pictures on Riceburner's website http://www.riceburner.co.uk - which shows VERY neat install - but they are not closeups, and the do not give true credit to the fit.

Just in case you feel way too generous with your time over the weekend and have nothing else to do - I will appreciate the pics (only the front) - but if you are not up to it - do not worry - I will have to find out myself anyway.

Cheers
