Higher bars

Post by Pussy »

Guys

As a short arse I find the flat bars a stretch. Does anybody have a set of the standard R1150R bars they don't want/can sell? Please get in touch if you do. :)

You ought to be able to fit any bars really - the fittings are the same as standard (pretty much).

just be wary of "too" much lift because you might need longer hoses/cables.

Or you could buy some bar risers from Moto-techniques. Thats what I did with my Rockster, and it works well for shortys (I'm 5'8"). With the bar risers, you get a shorter reach but still a slight forward lean which is excellent if you don't have a screen. The standard cables and hoses are fine with these risers. They come in two different setbacks. Mine are the 1.25" which is good for me. Depends how tall you are.

Takes no time to install these quality products.

Hope this helps

I've got a pair of the 1" up, 1.25" back risers which I don't need any more (fitted R bars to my Rock last weekend), £15 and they're in the post to you tomorrow. Give me a call on 07719 487962
